Stagecoach Manchester launched 15 brand-new ADL Enviro 200s at its Ashton depot last week – representing an investment of more than two million pounds.
Shadow Transport Minister, Andrew Gwynne MP joined Stagecoach Manchester managing director Chris Bowles and a number of staff at the depot, which serves Tameside.
The new E200s will replace 13-year old vehicle on routes 346 and 347 routes, serving Hyde, Dukinfield, Ashton, Denton and Haughton Green. The investment follows the recent launch of a new timetable for the 346 route, which now has more daytime services.
The Enviro 200 contains a Ventura Systems Inward Swinging door in the front of the vehicle.
